According to the supplement "The 100 + influential" newspaper "Express" on May 11, Professor Rogério Martins, Professor of Mathematics Department of FCT / NOVA, has direct entry to the 46th place of the 100 people who most mark the last 12 months in Portugal.
Professor Rogério Martins presents the SIC News program "This is Mathematics" where, through a direct and accessible language, illustrated examples that connect mathematics to everyday of Portuguese students, contributing decisively to its demystification. The professor is also director of the magazine "Gazeta Mathematics," published by the Portuguese Mathematical Society.
